Arrive in Potosi and stroll through the fascinating city! Plaza 10 de Noviembre is hotspot where there's always something going on. Admire the barroque cathedral and visit the royal mint "Casa de la Moneda", where coins were previously minted. There you can admire a collection of coins as well as original equipment and tools. If you're wanting to experience the local cuisine? Today we have a great adventure for you! Located in the heart of the Inca territory, our guide will take you to one of Bolivia's treasures: the Cerro Rico. First, you'll take a short bus ride to a shop where you are able to pick up some more supplies before going into the depths of the mine, Plaza de los Mineros. You'll descend down the numerous tunnels dug to reach the many treasures hidden beneath under Cerro Rico, once home to the largest silver deposits and 100 other minerals in the world. Be sure to thank "El Tio," the spirit guardian of the mine. In mythology, this deity protects the miners from accidents and leads them to the most precious minerals, so long as it is treated respectfully. So light up a cigarette and leave some coca leaves or alcohol as a gift.  Note: Because this activity includes moving and climbing through narrow tunnels, it is highly recommended that you are in good physical and mental health. If you suffer from claustrophobia or are pregnant, this tour is not suitable for you.  3* Hotel     Breakfast
