Immerse yourself in the warm and friendly atmosphere of Bolivia and savor a piece of homemade cake in a living room-converted cafe. And as Sucre is known for its chocolate, be sure to try a bar. Relax under the palm trees on the idyllic Plaza 25 de Mayo, the central meeting point of the city. Watch the hustle and bustle in this city where everything comes together: people of all ages and backgrounds. If you're lucky, you may even experience one of the cheery town festivals. Finally, don't forget some of the local cuisine by trying a Sanocho: a potato and sweet corn soup with a 'cerveza.' Delicious!

Itinerary
In the coming days, you'll learn about the capital of Bolivia with its mild climate and fresh mountain air. You will be picked up at the airport and transferred to your hotel, where you are free to relax or go off and explore. Being a splendid colonial city, Sucre has been a UNESCO World Heritage since 1991. In the heart of Sucre, you'll find the Plaza 25 de Mayo, where two of the most important historical buildings are held: the cathedral and Casa de la Libertad, where the independence of Bolivia was declared. Be sure to see other churches and museums and pick up some souvenirs, such as traditional woven goods. We highly recommend the central market where you can find a variety of fresh fruits, spices vegetables and more!

Tarabuco Market
The eventful Tarabuco Market takes place every Sunday, about 65 kilometers from Sucre. As the preservation of traditions and customs is important in Tarabuco, you'll still be able to immerse yourself in unque cultural experiences here. Buy some hand-woven Andean textiles, handmade goods and food for sale or to swap. Price on request

Hiking Tour
You'll be picked up from your accommodation and driven to the summit of Chataquila at 3650 metres of elevation. You'll be hiking 2-3 hours downhill along the Inca path, while admiring the breathtaking views. Afterward you'll be taken to the "Maragua Crater," where geological formations create the appearance of a large crater. If you would rather, you can also hike the crater from Maragua, which will be 4-5 hours up to the dinosaur tracks Ninu Mayo! On the way to the crater, you can stop over at the Ravelo River, but if you are here in the rainy season, you'll take a trip to Potolos instead, due to the high waters. Price on request

Mountain Biking
This biking tour will take you to aweing natural sights. Bike about 45 minutes uphill to the "Parque Cretácico" where you will see dinosaur tracks from the cretaceous period! Another short distance uphill will bring you some nice sights and you'll then be able to relax and head downhill to Mojotoro. Price on request

Paragliding
Ready for an adrenaline rush? For about 10-20 minutes, you'll "fly" from Cochabamba to the Viña Pampa region, 500m below. Enjoy the magnificent view from the top to the bottom!
