One-Way Rental Charges
Please keep in mind, that you have to pay one-way rental charges if the pick up and drop off point are not the same. The fee varies depending on the distance between the locations. The table below shows the fees for the most common pick up and drop off locations. If the locations you are looking for are not in the table, you can just contact us.
Terms and Conditions of Car Hire:
- Driver's minimum age must be 25 years old, and maximum age is 80 years old.
- Your national driving license is sufficient and issued at least two years before the date of the car rental.
- Additional drivers must be registered on-site. No additional costs will be charged for a second driver. For a third driver, there is a fee of 150 MXN.
- Rental prices include all kilometers driven.
- Only the category of the car can be selected, and not the specific make/model, due to the changing on-site availability
- A deposit (10,000 MXN for Economy, Mid-size, Full-size and 20,000 MXN for Minivan) must be paid in full with credit card (AMEX, VISA or MasterCard) upon pick-up. When the car is returned, the deposit will be reimbursed, assuming no damages have occurred.
- Included in the rent is a basic insurance with deductible. This insurance covers personal injury and property damage to third parties, caused by the rental car driver.
- An insurance without deductible is also optional. Included in this insurance cover are personal injury to all involved persons, damage to the car, loss of keys and license plates. The costs for the insurance without deductible are 300 MXN per day for Economy, Midsize and Fullsize car categories and 450 MXN per day for the Minivan car category.
- Rental car must be returned with a full tank
- If the pick-up and drop-off location differ, a one-way fee will be charged and can be paid in advance online or on-site
- The rentals are billed in 24-hour periods
- Mobile WIFI can be rented for 15 USD per day (+ tax). There is a deposit of 30% of the total rental amount. Because only a limited number of devices are available, we recommend booking in advance.
- Unfortunately GPS devices are not available to rent
- Children's seats can be rented for 129.50 MXN per day. Because only a limited number of availability, we recommend booking in advance.
Notes: SC Travel Adventures is only the intermediary for the rental car contract. Co-contractor is the rental car company. Complaints need to be solved with the rental car company on site. Our colleagues in Mexico will help you with that. If you have any complaints please always show a copy of your contract. Every damage needs to be announced to the police. Subject to modification: All information about local prices, return fees, insurance fees and conditions can be changed without further notice. You'll get the detailed condtions at the pick up of your rental car.
