Itinerary

You'll be picked up early in the morning in Cuzco to start your trip to Valle Sagrado, or "the sacred valley." As the name suggests, this place of great importance for the Incas, visible through its ruins of a fortress, ceremonial site and growing area. Marvel in the beautiful nature of the valley with it's green slopes, colorful fields, steep mountains and the Urubamba River. Go to the Ccorao and Taray viewpoints and visit a local market with a variety colorful of fruits, crafts, jewelry and clothing. You'll enjoy a lunch at a typical buffet-style restaurant in Urubamba before exploring Ollantaytambo, an archaeological center, not only housing ruins but a vibrant village of 2,000 people. Many of the houses still stand on the foundations of the past, so an Incan-style architecture is still visible today.
