What to expect...
  The small community of Las Terrazas is located in a designated a UNESCO protected area and is an absolute paradise for nature lovers. Here you'll find two mountain ranges, the romantic Sierra del Rossario and the rugged Sierra de Organos. Between the two ranges is 5000 hectares of unspoilt natural lakes, waterfalls and remains of coffee plantations and sulfur springs. With so much to do, you won't have time to be bored. Explore the region on horseback, float over the treetops and forest canopy and hike on the many trails.

Itinerary

Today you'll arrive in Las Terrazas and as it's a convenient location from many other destinations, you should be able to leisurely make your way here with plenty of time to start exploring your new location. Unterkunft im Hotel Moka
Today you'll be able to explore the UNESCO Biofield Reserve, designed to reforest coffee plantations. Learn more about the background of the project and a hike through the reserve where giant ferns, wild orchids and colorful begonias are plentiful. In the afternoon, visit the Buenavista Coffee plantation (optional) or enjoy a swim in the Río San Juan. Today is your last day in Las Terrazas, though we can arrange for you to stay as an extension if you'd like. Otherwise, we recommend moving on to another destination in Cuba. You can continue west to Viñales Valley or to Varadero in central Cuba. There are also several options if you would like to spend some time along a Cuban beach. Most options are an easy drive away, though you can also take a plane to some farther destinations. Verpflegung: Breakfast
