Columbus was supposed to have visited the 25-kilometer island in 1494, later served as a hiding place for pirates. To this day the island is uninhabited.

The flight from Havana to Cayo Largo del Sur takes no time. Nevertheless you have the opportunity to take a look at the main island and the numerous smaller islands from the height - a great sight! Upon your arrival at Cayo Largo, you are already expected and transferred to your hotel. This is located on the south coast of the island and allows you an unforgettable stay!
