What to expect...
  Though eastern Cuba is less populated than western Cuba, it doesn't lack adventure and sights. Santiago de Cuba is the unofficial capital of the country, where the music genre "Son," a mix of Salsa and Afro-Cuban music, originated. Additionally, it was also a pinnacle place in the Cuban Revolution. Holguin also has the Alejandro de Humboldt National Park, which is the most important reserve of the country and the highest mountains in Cuba. So there's plenty of highlights to see and explore!

Itinerary

As Holguin has a great international airport, you may be arriving into Cuba today. Upon your arrival, you will be met by one of our staff and taken to your accommodation near the city center. Holguin is the third largest city in Cuba and called the "City of Parks". In the city center there are several museums and a cathedral from the 18th century. Today is your last day in Holguin, but before you go, we highly recommend hiking up the Loma de la Cruz for a fantastic view. Then, you can be on your way to explore the rest of Cuba. With plenty great destinations nearby, there are so many options available!  Verpflegung: Breakfast
