What to expect...
  Havana is the perfect place to start your trip to Cuba and this mini trip provides you with ample opportunity to get a great first impression. Havana was founded in 1519 and later became Cuba's capital city and main port. Today you will find a lot of charm through its colonial architecture, classic cars and eclectic culture. You're sure to get lost in this beautiful and vibrant lifestyle. A special highlight are the city's walls and fortifications, whose fragments are still intact today. Being a port city, they were previously built to protect the Spanish treasures from pirate raids.

Itinerary

After arriving at the José Martí International Airport in Havana, you will be met by one of our staff and transferred to your hotel or Casa Particular. Depending on your arrival, you may want to already take some time today to start exploring this exciting city. Unterkunft im Hotel Comodoro / Casa Particular 
You have today free to use at your disposal, either exploring on your own or by booking one of our optional offers or excursions. The old town in Havana is accessible by foot and highly recommended. There you will find some buildings still intact from the towns origins 500 years ago! For that reason, the old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Of course there are also many other sites to see, including a great night life.  Unterkunft im Hotel Comodoro / Casa Particular  Verpflegung: Breakfast (if staying at the hotel)
Today is your last day in Havana, but it doesn't have to be your last day in Cuba. We highly recommend combining this trip with one of our many Cuban destinations which you can easily reach by car, with Vinales Valley only about 185km (115 miles) away and Santa Clara about 300km (185 miles) away.
