Itinerary

Welcome to the paradise of Ubud! Your tour of Indonesia starts on the stunning island of Bali. Ubud is located around 50km from Denpasar where the airport is located. You'll meet your guide in the lobby in the afternoon before taking a stroll through the city and enjoying a delicious dinner in one of the numerous local restaurants. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay
Today you can explore Ubud as you see fit. If you’re anxious to start collecting souvenirs then you can browse one of the many shops, boutiques or galleries in the famous market. Animal lovers may want to visit the Monkey Forest and examine this fascinating creature. If you want you may explore the area around Ubud by foot or bicycle. Wrap up the day with a relaxing Balinese massage at the spa, or take a cooking class. In the evening you can watch a traditional Balinese dance. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Today you'll leave Ubud and go to Padang Bai where you will take a fast boat to the Gili Islands. There are three Gili Islands - Gili Air, Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan - all of which are located off the northwest coast of Lombok. Each one is a paradise for beach lovers, sun worshipers, and anyone in need of some tranquility. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Today you can relax on the Gili Islands. Soak up the sun on white sandy beaches and cool off in crystal clear water. If you like, you can take a stroll around the islands, go snorkeling, or perhaps take a diving trip. You can also take a boat out and explore the other islands. On Gili Meno there is a bird park which bird watchers may find interesting. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Today you'll take the ferry back to Lombok and make your way inland. Your first stop will be in lovely Lingsar where you can explore a temple that has close ties to two different faiths. At the second stop in Narmada you'll have time to get lunch before setting off again. You'll then travel to the summer palace of the Balinese prince which has been in Narmada since the early 18th century! The final stop for the day is the scenic Tetebatu. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay   Verpflegung: Breakfast
Tetebatu lies at the foot of the Rinjani volcano and sits between rice fields, coffee and clove plantations. If you’re feeling active, there are plenty of great places to hike around the town. You can hike to the Air Terjun Jeruk Manis waterfall and visit some of the villages nearby which are known for their intricate handicrafts. In the evening you can watch a traditional dance show. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Today you'll travel to Labuhan Lombok by car, and then take the ferry to Poto Tano on the island of Sumbawa. The 1.5 million inhabitants in this area are predominantly Muslim orthodox and the landscape is characterized by hills and mountains. You'll spend two pleasant nights in the capital Sumbawa Besar. On your travels you'll drive past the picturesque houses of the Bugi people, a Malay tribe, a site not to be missed. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Today you can view the former sultan's palace Dalam Loka, relax on the beaches in the area, or take a snorkeling trip to the Pulau Moyo Nature Reserve. This small island is surrounded by coral reefs and is one of the best diving spots in all of Indonesia. There are thousands of fish and coral species here for you to discover as well as reef sharks, stingrays, fish, and much more. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Today you'll travel across the island, past rice paddies, volcanoes, and fishing villages, to the beautiful city of Bima. The city is surrounded by salt flats and the port is well worth visiting too as you'll see many decorated cargo ships sailing past. We also recommend that you visit the bustling Pasar Malam (night market) for a real taste of local life. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
In the morning you'll travel to Sape and board a boat for a stunning 5 hour cruise to Komodo. But before you get there, you'll have the opportunity to swim and snorkel at the nearby beach. While you're on the island of Komodo you can participate in an (optional) hike to see the famous Komodo dragons and other wild animals that call the island home. Then it's time to set sail to Rinca, where you'll spend the night aboard the ship. Unterkunft im Night Boat   Verpflegung: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
After breakfast you can take an (optional) walk on the island of Rinca and appreciate its savanna-like landscape and spectacular views. The boat will then take you to Labuhan Bajo on Flores Island. This is the perfect time and place to enjoy the sun and scenery of passing islands as well as the tranquil blue sea! In Labuhan Bajo you can swim and snorkel, take a trip to the Batu Caves Cermin, or climb the Pramuka for a great view of the bay! Unterkunft im Overnight Stay   Verpflegung: Breakfast/Lunch
Today you'll take a drive along a winding road through the mountains which are covered by dense rainforest. After about 5 hours you'll reach the charming town of Ruteng which lies at the foot of the Ranaka volcano. The mild climate here is perfect for growing flowers, bamboo, and rice. Here you can see the three traditional Adat houses, the cathedral, and the market where you can buy authentic black cotton Manggarai scarves with beautifully colored embroidery.  Unterkunft im Overnight Stay   Verpflegung: Breakfast
In the morning you'll drive through the densely vegetated mountain region of West Flores, which will after a while open up to a fantastic view of volcanoes and the sea. In the afternoon you'll reach Bajawa, which is also surrounded by several volcanoes and is located about 1,100 meters above sea level. Most people in the region are Catholic but their faith has been mixed with indigenous religious practices and beliefs such as animism and ancestor worship. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay   Verpflegung: Breakfast
Bajawa is a great starting point to explore this region from. If you like you can take an (optional) day trip to some traditional Ngadha villages. One of the stops is the village of Bena which has been described as an "open air museum". In the village square there are several standing religious megaliths which were build to connect this world with the world of the dead.  Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Today you'll venture even further into the mountains as you drive the 125 km away to City End. This is the largest town in Flores and was once the major port city for the Sultans of Massakar. These days, about half of the population is Muslim and the other half are Catholics. When you arrive you'll have the chance to take a walk through this fascinating old town. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
The first part of today’s journey will take you to the Kelimutu volcano. This volcano is famous for its three crater lakes which change color and can appear to be green, turquoise, red, blue, or brown. This effect is caused by the minerals which are dissolved in the depths. You'll then be taken back to Ende. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Today we leave the beautiful island of Flores behind and fly back to Denpasar in Bali. There you'll be taken to Sanur, where you'll spend the last day of your tour. Sanur is a modern tourist village and most of the hotels are built in Balinese style. Here you can enjoy the many entertainment venues while getting to know the Balinese culture. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Spend some quiet time on the beach and go swimming all while soaking up some sun. The coast is preceded by a reef, so at low tide the water recedes, making exploring the reef very easy. At high tide, you can choose from a variety of water sports! Here, you can enjoy the numerous restaurants and can take a trip to the temples of Bali, such as the Pura Tanah Lot, one of the most famous on the island. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay   Verpflegung: Breakfast
The last day of your Indonesia tour has begun. We wish you a safe and pleasant journey back home and hope that you'll come back to enchanting Indonesia again soon!
