Itinerary

Selamat Datang (Welcome)! We recommend you book a flight to Bandung International Airport, as it is close to Jakarta. When you arrive you can check in to your hotel and relax until your guided tour in the evening. This beautiful city is found on a plateau surrounded by 15 volcanoes. Your three-week journey through Indonesia begins in this lively and welcoming city. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay
Today we recommend that you start by visiting the Jalan Braga, one of the best streets for shopping and tourism in the city. Here you'll see many beautiful buildings in Art Deco style, like the minaret of the Great Mosque from which you’ll have a stunning view of the city and the Tangkuban Prahu volcano. You may also choose to take a trip to the volcano (optional). If you're interested in Natural History, you can visit the Geological Museum. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Today you'll travel through the breathtaking landscape of Java to Cipanas. You'll stop on the way and visit a tea factory and tea plantation in Gunung Mas before travelling through the Puncak Pass. Cipanas is a historic and picturesque city located at the foot of the Gunung Guntur Mountain near Garut. Moreover, Cipanas is known for its many natural hot springs that supply the hotels in the region with hot water. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
If you haven’t already gone, you can still take a trip to the active volcano of Papandayan (optional). Then you'll go into the traditional Sundanese village of Naga for a short swim break. Up next is Pangandaran, a charming fishing village on Java's southern coast, just a short drive away. Here you'll find a long sandy beach and the Pangandaran National Park, which extends out to the peninsula. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay
Today will be spent in and around Pangandaran. Relax on the beach, take a walk in the village, or go hiking in the national park. There you can see deer, birds, monkeys, and even Banteng cattle. A few kilometers from Pangandaran are some rocky cliff formations that are well worth a visit, as well as some limestone caves in the north of the peninsula. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
The first stage of today’s journey takes you to Cilacap. From here you'll head onward to Wonosobo, a beautiful mountain town located 900 meters above sea level. Because of the altitude, Wonosobo can get cool during the night. It is located at the edge of the Dieng Plateau and is flanked by the 3,000 meter high Gunung Sumbing and Gunung Sundoro volcanoes. The Dieng Plateau is a mystical landscape with sulfur springs, mud pools, and lakes. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay
In the morning you'll take a walk through the Dieng Plateau, where you'll see the oldest Hindu temples in Java. In the afternoon you'll head to Borobudur where you'll find the largest Buddhist monument in the world. The Ziggurat that was built here in the early 9th century is about a hundred feet high and about 120 meters long on each side. Marvel at more than 500 images of Buddha and over 1,400 reliefs before you leave for Yogyakarta. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Today you'll have time to explore Yogyakarta. You should definitely see the Kraton, the Sultan's Palace, where you’ll find the pleasure palace, the Grand Mosque, the throne room, parade grounds and much more! In the Jalan Malioboro, you can go shopping for souvenirs and visit the most beautiful mosque in all of Yogyakarta – the Mesjid Synhada. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
You can spend the day as you wish. We recommend an excursion to the famous temples of Prambanan. During this excursion you will also see Surakarta, which is also called Solo. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
By train you will keep on travelling to Malang, a city in a valley surrounded by four volcanoes as well as teak and tobacco plantations. It's also located in higher grounds, which means its climate is a little cooler. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
In the 13th century Malang was the political and cultural center of Indonesia. When the Dutch colonists arrived it became popular due to its pleasant climate. Here you can visit the Tugu Monument, the Gereja Cathedral, the famous "flower and bird market", and take a stroll through the Chinese quarter. In the early afternoon you’ll drive to Probolinggo and then on to Bromo. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
At four o'clock in the morning you’ll make your way up the Bromo volcano by jeep. There you'll be able to enjoy the breathtaking sunset. You'll then cross the plateau and climb to the top of the inner crater. Afterwards you return to your hotel to have breakfast. You go on to the airport of Surabaya to fly to Denpasar, the capital of the island Bali. A transfer will bring you to Ubud.  Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Stroll through the city and visit the famous market and the Monkey Forest. You can take a cooking class or another excursion of your choice to explore the surrounding region. You can also rent a bike and ride through the surrounding villages and rice fields; visit the Elephant Cave Goa Gajah or take a rafting tour on the river Ayun. In the evening you can watch a traditional Kecak dance and try some delicious local food. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
You have another day to explore Ubud or the surrounding area. One option would be to take part in a bike tour through the rice fields. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Your journey takes you to the beautiful Gili Islands. Your accommodaton will be either on Gili Meo or Gili Air. This beach paradise offers you a lot of different activities. Enjoy the upcoming days! Unterkunft im Overnight Stay    Verpflegung: Breakfast
Free days to discover the Gili Islands. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay   Verpflegung: Breakfast
You take the ferry and bus to Sanur. Spend the afternoon on the beach or shop your last souvenirs. The beautiful area of Sanur managed to remain tipically balinese and still spreads a traditional atmosphere, which makes it a wonderful last stop on your tour through Indonesia. Unterkunft im Overnight Stay   Verpflegung: Breakfast
It's time to leave enchanting Indonesia. Before making your way to the airport in Denpasar, you can take one more swim in the sea, enjoy a nice breakfast, or simply sleep. If you're not quite ready to depart we are more than happy to help you extend your stay. We wish you a pleasant journey home and know that you'll be taking many beautiful memories back with you!
